About me
I'm Jason Kaufmann 장희철, a multidisciplinary art director and designer based in San Diego. I help create brand experiences that feel real, relatable, and built with intention.
My goal is to create work that balances business and design, form and function, beauty and innovation – work that feels clear, relatable, and built with enough care to live beyond the first impression.
Currently at Cinco, with recent freelance work for Instrument. Previously, I led DTC brand and digital work at Scoutside, with earlier roles at BASIC/DEPT, MiresBall, and Cuker.
Strategy
I help brands find their voice, stand out and engage with their audiences by creating systems of expression that work across all touch points.
Design
Blending strategy and design, I create seamless user experiences that cut through the noise and move units.
Direction
From art direction to content creation, I connect the dots between concept and execution with big ideas and tasteful intuition.
